Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value the rights of intellectual property as much as we expect others to respect our rights as well. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a copyright owner or their representative can send us a notice to take down infringing material. As an internet service provider, we are protected under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To report a copyright infringement, you must provide certain details, including:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed;
- Information on the location of the infringing material to be removed;
- Contact details of the complaining party;
- A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized;
- A statement that the information provided is accurate.
Failure to provide accurate information can result in civil damages. Takedown notices can be sent through our Contact page by email for quicker resolution.
Be aware that we may disclose your identity to the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you agree to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have it restored. Your notification should include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the material that was removed;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake;
- Your contact information and consent for jurisdiction.
Send your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for repeat infringers. We keep a record of DMCA notices and terminate accounts of those who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Modifications
We reserve the right to change our DMCA policy at any time. Please check back regularly for updates.
